Welcome to The Urban Poetry ProjectHi and thank you for visiting The Urban Poetry Project. The site is an outlet for amateur poets and writers of all styles and guises. The aim of the site is to provide a platform for poets and writers to have they're works posted on the internet for free. The site is a non commercial project purely done for the love of all things verse etc. If you are a budding poet or writer and want a free outlet for your works then feel free to get in touch and get your work posted. Please check out the contact page on how to get in touch and submit any work. The site isn't elitist and therefore welcomes works of all levels. It doesn't matter how good or bad you think you are, get in touch and become a part of the project. Also, the site is looking for reviews and articles so if you have an idea for the site or would like to include an article or review then get in touch. Become a part of the project and help it evolve. Urban poetry, Urban Stories, Photography, Projects, Profiles, Features, Articles, the list is open ended. A fella called Darren Poyzer suggested "Urban Love Poetry" . Interesting subject.. Any submissions on the subject would be most welcomed. Serenade my aura and illuminate it with your passion Maree Cunningham It’s a repaint of an old scenario And hurt beats like a vibe long devised Yet hearts spurned and burned Are soon to heal Yet Long in their despise.
